What You Can Expect To Find
The structure and function of our little congregation doesn't allow us to look like a normal church. This means that a lot of the elements that you might expect to find are not there. There is no offering plate, there is no mechanism for receiving funds nor an operational budget. This is because we do not consider ourselves a "church" but rather a community.
We believe that the resources and tools we have are those which have been provided for us by God. In the same way and by the same measurement, what we don't have, God has not yet provided and is therefore not a need. That might cause us to look a bit disorganized sometimes. Duties or roles in the congregation are not artificially filled to make us look like we've got everything well in order. If someone is drawn to us and has a particular passion to be involved, we want there to be room for that person. We haven't filled all the gaps and smoothed things over so that there is no opportunity for others to come in to participate. We are unapologetic in this. We don't want to inhibit the direction that God is taking our congregation by our own agendas and we don't want to mask over the opportunity that God has left vacant for you.
We meet in a small building located on the property of a member of our congregation. It is a work in progress, just like the rest of us. But, it is warm in the winter time and cool in the summer and provides a sanctuary for fellowship and worship. We are grateful for it.

We can be described as a "family-integrated" community. In lay-man's terms, this simply means that there are kids everywhere and they are encouraged to be a part of our service and our worship, rather than separated from it. This means we can be a little loud or disrupted. It means that sometimes we may be a little more casual or a little less accomplished at the end of the day. But it also means that each person is very, very important to us and we don't want them to feel pushed aside.
